When do Canon Black Friday deals start?
Black Friday camera deals begin surfacing in mid-November, with early promotions appearing first at Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. Canon’s own store often follows with rebates on selected EOS R bodies and RF lenses.
While the biggest price drops tend to land between November 25th and December 2nd, the early deals are often close to the final sale numbers, so if you see a worthwhile discount on the body or lens you want, you rarely need to wait until Black Friday itself.
We expect to see deals on:
- EOS R5 and R6 Mark II body-only kits
- EOS R8 and R7 for hybrid shooters
- Creator kits bundled with microphones, grips, or extra batteries
- RF lenses with seasonal rebates, especially zooms and primes under 200mm
We will be finding all the best discounts and bringing them to this page, but if you are researching early and would like to bookmark any specific retailers, we recommend the following: Canon direct.
B&H Photo, Adorama, Amazon, Best Buy.
Is Black Friday the best time to buy a Canon camera?
For most, yes. Canon’s seasonal rebates during Black Friday and Cyber Monday are historically the best of the year, often ranging from 10–30% off, depending on the body or lens. Bundles usually offer the best overall value, especially those that include official Canon batteries, memory cards, or EF–RF adapters.
Don’t forget about Black Friday lens deals
Bundles that include RF 24–105mm kits or discounted RF primes (35mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.8, 85mm f/2) often offer the strongest long-term value. If you’re starting fresh on the RF system, these bundles are usually the smartest and cheapest way to build a usable kit quickly.
