Why the FUJIFILM X Half Stands Out
Who Is This Deal For and Is It a Good Time to Buy?

Fujifilm has mastered the art of “vibes,” but its latest experimental cameras usually comes with a premium price tag. That changes today. For the holiday season, the FUJIFILM X Half Premium Compact Camera has seen its biggest Amazon price drop yet. Originally $849.95, it is now available for $649. This $200.95 discount makes the X Half finally “affordable” for those who have been eyeing its unique analog-inspired workflow.

Deal @ Amazon

According to CamelCamelCamel, this is the lowest price ever recorded for the X Half on Amazon. It’s a rare opportunity to grab one of the most talked-about compacts of the year without the recent tariff-based price hikes that have affected other popular models like the X100VI.

Why the FUJIFILM X Half Stands Out

Premium Design with Fujifilm Personality

The X Half has a premium metal body, tactile controls, and that Fujifilm retro look that appeals to photographers who care about how a camera feels as much as how it performs.

Advanced Creative Filters

While most Fujifilm cameras offer Film Simulations, the X Half goes further with 26 analog-inspired filters. You can add halation, light leaks, and grain that feel organic rather than digital. The 2-in-1 mode is particularly clever, allowing you to pair two images (or even a video and a still) into a single file directly in-camera.

Pocketable and Social-Ready

Weighing just 240g, this is a true “everyday carry” camera. It features a tiny rear LCD window that displays your current “film roll” and pairs with the dedicated X Half App for a “digital development” experience. It’s designed to be the bridge between the convenience of a smartphone and the intentionality of a Leica.

This deal is perfect for street photographers, travel shooters, and Fujifilm fans who want something different from a typical compact camera. It’s also a great fit for photographers who already own a main system camera and want a creative, carry-everywhere companion.

At its original $850 MSRP, it was a hard sell against APS-C rivals. At the current price of $649, it is a steal for anyone who values design, tactile controls, and that unmistakable Fujifilm color science.

Stock for these niche models tends to get empty fast. So if the FUJIFILM X Half caught your eye at launch but felt overpriced, this is a good time to buy.
