The Fujifilm X Half is getting a fresh look with a new White colorway, which has already launched in overseas markets, according to a report from Fuji Rumors. Previously, the retro-inspired compact camera was available in Charcoal Silver, Silver, and Black finishes.
A Hit at Launch, but Momentum Has Slowed
When it debuted in May 2025, the X Half quickly became a bestseller. It even outperformed the X100VI in sales at one pointāa camera that typically disappears from shelves almost as soon as it becomes available. More recent reports, however, suggest that demand for the X Half has cooled significantly, with unusually high stock levels now sitting in stores.
The new White version appears to be purely a cosmetic refresh. Internally, the camera remains unchanged. The X Half is designed to echo the shooting experience of classic half-frame film cameras, not only through Fujifilmās film simulations but also through its control layout. It features a film advance-style lever and a dedicated Film Camera mode meant to encourage a slower, more intentional shooting style.
Whether the White edition will officially arrive in the U.S. market is still unknown.
Fujifilm X-T5 and X Half Bundle Deal
There is another development around the X Half that hints at Fujifilmās current strategy. Right now, you can get the Fujifilm X Half (Black) as a free gift when purchasing a Fujifilm X-T5 kit. Adorama is offering an X-T5 bundle paired with the 16ā80mm f/4 OIS WR lens, and the X Half is included as a free bonus. The bundle is priced at $2,399.95 and is currently the only configuration that includes the X Half at no additional cost.
The fact that the X Half is being given away in a bundle strongly suggests that demand is softer than it was at launch, and that retailers likely have more inventory than expected.
A Solid Deal if Youāre Already Eyeing the X-T5
Regardless of the sales dynamics, this is a compelling offer if youāre shopping for an X-T5. The X Half alone normally retails for around $649, and the bundle also includes a $100 discount on the X-T5 kit itself. If both cameras appeal to you, itās an excellent way to get the compact X Half essentially for free.
