7 out of 10 points and recommendedsharp, light, smallslow autofocus, not good for action photography
Bought this and used it at downhill mtb event. Reverted to 18-70 as it was missing too many shots.reviewed October 21st, 2005
Fine for landscape and portrait as optically it fine.
8 out of 10 points and recommendedBrilliant landscape and interiors lensbit soft in the corners, not exactly value for money
Bought this as I missed my 24/2.8 on Nikon F. Not regretted it, but it is not perfect, soft corners at some settings, noticeable distortion at 12mm, cheap plasticky feel, expensive. When I got it only other option was bulbous Sigma, however this thing is not exactly small either. I'd be interested to see how Tokina and Tamron, new Sigma do in comparison.reviewed October 21st, 2005
By the way this site is a great idea.
