  • Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

SHARP! Great contrast, nice bokeh, and the colors are stunning...
A bit heavy, but what did you expect?

This lens is a serious workhorse. It spits out great looking images without too much effort. The IS works well and the AF is dead on almost every time. I wouldn't say this is a real "walk-around" lens, but I personally don't mind it.

Comes with all the essentials, which is more than I can say about some other Canon lenses. Come on Canon! Include the hood and tripod collar with all your lenses like you do with this one!

  • Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

9 out of 10 points and recommended
Sharp when stopped, smooth bokeh, and quick AF
I'd like my 1.4 to be sharp at 1.4... not have to stop down to 2+

My pros and cons say it all. One other thing is that I wish Canon included the hood with it. Overall a nice lens and I'd buy it again if I had to.

  • Canon EF 100mm f/2 USM

Sharp throughout and the focus is fast
    none

Can't say anything bad about this lens. The only thing it's missing is the red line around the rim... and the dust/moisture seal that comes with it.
