Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM
10 out of 10 points and recommendedexcellent IQ even at f2.0 (colours, contrast, sharpness, bokeh, 3D effect); useful IS; very very good AF; very good built quality; excellent close-up capabilityhigh coma in night shots at f 2.0 and 2.8, not the best f2.0 resolutionThis 35 is now my favorite walk around lens on my 5D MKII.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM
10 out of 10 points and recommendedexcelent IQ, light weight, very good IS and finally but not the last excellent IQ :)))the hood could be better, slipping focus but after service it's okImage is excellent at all focals starting from f4. Close up image (at MFD) is very good, except at 135-200mm on my copy. For this situation I use only 70-100mm.

The slipping focus is history now after free service.
