    Sharp, light, fast
    Light build,

I bought this lens years ago when I was shooting film. It has always delivered. I use it all the time for landscape. Not a pro piece of glass, but I find it a very useful tool in my bag.

shoot wide open and pics are very usable.

I have used this lens for about two years now on a D200. The images are sharp and very usable. This monstor is hand holdable in good light however I use a tripod or monopod when exceeding 300mm in focal length.
This is a very good lens in the price range.

Great walk around on my D700, sharp, built well
    Macro works but clunky operation

This is a hidden gem for the price point. Reasonably fast focus, sharp, great range, slight distortion at28mm. This is certainly not a pro lens but it holds up quite well if used properly.
