Hewlett-Packard announces Deskjet 9650 By

(Thursday, August 14, 2003 - 09:42 EDT)In the last of HP's huge batch of printer announcements, the company announces a new Deskjet model aimed at business use.
The HP Deskjet 9650 has a resolution of 1200 dpi, prints on paper up to 13" x 19", features parallel and USB connectivity, and offers a straight-through paper path for printing on thick media. Two other variants of the printer are available, the Deskjet 9670 (includes an auto-duplex unit) and the Deskjet 9680 (includes a PostScript RIP CD). Pricing for the base Deskjet 9650 is set at $399, with availability in September 2003.
