Preview update and SAMPLE IMAGES for Canon EOS-1D Mark III!|

We've had some hands-on time with a late-revision prototype of the EOS-1D Mark III, updated our preview, and posted some SAMPLE IMAGES...
Now that we've had some hands-on time with a late-rev prototype of the Canon EOS-1D Mark III, we're more impressed than ever. While the sample we've been working with is only a prototype, it's image quality and high-ISO noise levels are simply extraordinary. To our eyes, it looks like Canon has managed almost a full f-stop of noise improvement, the Mark III's ISO 6400 shots are only a little noisier than ISO 3200 ones from the Mark II N.
We've also further updated our coverage of the EOS-1D Mark III's AF system, posted a load of screenshots so you can see the user interface, and added a few other tidbits here and there.
Shawn spent a fair bit of time shooting with the Mark III, and will be posting a User Report later tonight or sometime during the day tomorrow. (Teaser - he likes it!)
Meanwhile, see our Canon Canon EOS-1D Mark III Hands-On Preview for all the latest, including an extensive set of sample images!
