After a tour of the hardware, we get down to business.
Our first week with the Kodak 5300 was interesting. We did some real work with it, photocoping a library book, scanning some old letters and printing some photos.
We also found the manual and the AiO Home Center printer utility. There's no software bundle with the 5300 (so no OCR, sorry), just the printer utility to setup stand-alone operations. So we used Photoshop to control the 5300.
Read Part II of our 5300 scanner/printer diary for the details.
