PRESS RELEASE: Lowepro combines a classic bike courier profile with protective and practical features in its newest carrying solution for today's youthful and style-minded DSLR user.

(Sebastopol, CA, January 4, 2010) – Lowepro, a product design company that builds protective gear for photography equipment and portable electronics, unveils its Exchange Messenger™ camera bag. This new, messenger bag style design offers a modern look, super-light weight and soft-sided protection for a standard DSLR kit, plus generous space for personal gear.

"Our Exchange Messenger design speaks to the consumer's desire to carry his or her DSLR, a couple of key accessories and plenty of non-camera essentials in a bag that's modern and stylish," said Tracy Daly, Lowepro product manager.

On the exterior, Exchange Messenger features tonal crisscrossing panels and a wide, integrated shoulder strap—reminiscent of a classic bike courier look. Inside, the main compartment is lined in contrasting fabric to easily see gear and sized to fit today's most popular DSLR models (placed horizontally), an extra lens or flash and personal items. Two adjustable, padded dividers allow for easy customization of the bag.

Additional features include: three spacious pockets under the flap (one with a zipper) to store anything from wallet, keys and cell phone to maps, boarding passes and sunglasses; and a two-buckle closure for fast access to gear, plus security when on the move.

The Exchange Messenger is available in Black, Grey and Arctic Blue.
