Iridient Digital has released an updated version of its Raw image processing application for Mac OS computers, Iridient Raw Developer 1.8.11.

The new release adds support for 32 new digital camera models from Canon, Leica, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Samsung, Sigma, and Sony. The update also improves onscreen rendering of preview images, updates the toolbar buttons for several controls, and makes various unspecified updates to default camera profiles. In addition, several bugs related to clipping warnings not retaining preferences and displaying their on/off states, keyboard shortcuts for white balance tint adjustments not working, and loading of EXIF metadata from Leaf camera backs failing have all been squashed in Raw Developer 1.8.11.

In full, the list of newly supported cameras in Iridient Raw Developer 1.8.11 include 12 DSLRs, 4 SLDs, and two translucent mirror cameras, plus 13 compacts.

Iridient Digital releases RAW Developer 1.8.11 for Mac OS X

Monterey, CA, December 3, 2010 -- Iridient Digital, Inc. has released RAW Developer 1.8.11 an update to our critically acclaimed RAW image processing software for Mac OS X. This update features support for 31 new camera models, improved image preview quality and bug fixes.

This update brings support for 32 new camera models including:
Canon 60D, S95, G12 and CHDK modified G9 Nikon D7000, D3100 and P7000 Olympus E-5 Pentax K-5, K-r and 645D Sony DSLR-A390, DSLR-A290, DSLR-A560, DSLR-A580, SLT-A33 and SLT-A55 Panasonic DMC-GH2, DMC-GF2, DMC-LX5, DMC-FZ100 and DMC-FZ45 (FZ40) Samsung NX100, NX5, TL500 (EX1), TL350 (WB2000) Leica D-Lux5 and V-Lux2 Sigma SD15, DP1s, DP1x and DP2s

Improvements include greatly improved preview rendering quality, updated toolbar buttons for several controls and updated default profiles for several cameras and several bug fixes.

RAW Developer 1.8.11 is a free update for all currently registered users, new licenses are $125.00 US. RAW Developer requires Mac OS X
10.4.10 or later and is a universal binary application which natively supports PowerPC G4, G5 and Intel processors.
