The Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG6 is a six megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom lens, and offers uninterpolated still images to a maximum of 2816 x 2112 pixels, as well as a VGA movie mode using the MPEG-4 file format. CG6 images are stored on SD cards, including the newer SDHC types, while a 2.5" flip-out LCD display serves as the sole method of framing or reviewing images.

The Sanyo CG6 also includes NTSC / PAL video output, USB 2.0 high-speed computer connectivity, and a built-in flash strobe. CG6 images are captured with a program mode or seven scene modes, with shutter speeds ranging from 4 - 1/2000 second, and ISO sensitivity from 50 to 1600.

The Sanyo Xacti CG6 ships from March 2007, priced at US$329.99.
