The best Canon commercials feature baby soccer stars, Batman, and amazing owls

Why is it that foreign commercials always seem better than ones here in the United States? Case in point is this brand new Japanese TV spot for the Canon EOS Kiss X7, the "world's smallest and lightest digital SLR," which is known as the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 here in the U.S.
To emphasize how small, light and fast the Kiss X7/Rebel SL1 digital SLR is, the ad shows pint-sized "super kids" playing soccer with amazing skills that would rival Lionel Messi. Of course, these kids' tricks and talents have been computer-enhanced in the commercial but the message is clear: this tiny, new Canon DSLR is sleek and agile enough for soccer moms and dads to capture all their kids' precious moments, no matter how quickly they happen.
We've embedded the Canon soccer ad below and under that is another good, recent Canon commercial from overseas, this time for IXUS/PowerShot cameras, featuring none other than The Dark Knight himself, Batman. And finally, check out the fabulous Canon EOS 1D Mark IV ad from Japan in 2010 at the bottom of this post. It's one of the best camera commercials we've seen that shows the beauty and joy of photographing birds in flight, in this case an impressive owl.
