Did you see July's announcement of the Hasselblad Stellar, and think to yourself "I like this, but it doesn't come in enough contrasting colors"? Well, it seems Hasselblad has listened, and announced the "Stellar Special Edition" — three new variants on the rebranded and reshaped Sony RX100.

The Stellar Special Editions are available in black, white and orange, and ship with "bespoke camera cases in black or white leather with signature stitching and shoulder and wrist straps." You can get them with carbon fibre, padouk or wenge wood grips, depending on your tastes via the Stellar site.

Evidently the initial rollout of the Hasselblad Stellar must have been enough of a success to warrant the new design, as Luca Alessandrini, Hasselblad's New Business Development Director is quoted as saying: "The launch of our Stellar brand in July was a great success and now we are offering discerning customers new options on this outstanding point and shoot camera."

As you might expect, these cameras do not go for cheap. If you want a special edition, it will set you back some $3,175 — enough to buy four of the Sony RX100 that it's based on, with enough left over for as many cases as you could need.
