Update to PhotoPC 3000Z adds Print Image Matching, faster shutter speeds...

Epson America Inc. will today announce the latest addition to its PhotoPC digital camera line, the PhotoPC 3100Z. An update to the existing PhotoPC 3000Z, the 3100Z adds print image matching, faster shutter speeds, an extra resolution setting (1600 x 1200), 'stitching' mode for panorama creation and monochrome (black and white) mode. The serial connectivity has also been removed from the camera, with USB now the only connectivity option. The pricetag of $799 recommended retail remains about the same as the PhotoPC 3000Z currently sells for.
