Phil Askey looks at Fuji's 3 megapixel 4900Z successor...

Our friends over at the Digital Photography Review website have this afternoon posted a review of Fuji's FinePix 6900 Zoom digital camera, which was first announced last March, and subsequently confirmed by Fuji USA last week. Phil concludes:
"Fujifilm have done a good job of fixing some of the bug bears we had with the 4900Z. The 6900Z produces well exposed, colourful, detailed and sharp images. The big 6x zoom lens has good quality (if some barrel distortion at wide angle) and sharpness and is fast for it's range (F2.8 - F3.1). The camera is smaller and lighter than you'd think looking at pictures in a brochure or on the net, and it's comfortable in your hand, all the controls are where they should be and you'll hardly ever have to dive into the menu (except for white balance, which should really be on the outside of the camera)."
For more on the camera including an array of sample images, and an in-depth look at camera control, check out the full review...
