Among photographers using Apple iOS devices, Nik Software's Snapseed Mobile is without doubt one of the most popular paid apps. That's not surprising. Snapseed offers the rare combination of a feature set that doesn't feel too hobbled by the mobile operating system platform, and a user interface that's really intuitive. It doesn't hurt that with standard pricing of around $5, Snapseed's an impulse buy.
Through most of this week, the deal's even better, though. As noted by Nik in the press release below, Snapseed has been selected as the Free App of the Week on iTunes. That means that until Thursday, you can pick up Snapseed Mobile for your iPad or iPhone, absolutely free of charge!
