Catchy song and video spoofs Instagram users

 

 

There have been a fair share of Instagram parodies these days including this one, which compares female Instagrammers with male Instagrammers; and this one, which satirizes a "professional" Instagram photographer.

So add to the satirical mix this catchy little tune and video entitled "The Instagram Song (Put A Filter on Me)," which hits the usual targets:

• Make fun of Instagram filters (check)

• Make fun of people who take Instagram pictures of their food (check)

• Make fun of Instagram hashtags (check)

What saves the song -- created and written by Julia Mattison -- from cliché is its infectious melody and the fun and perky performance by the two gals in the video.
