The Miggo Kickstarter is an interesting concept—it takes two of the most common camera accessories, and manages to combine them into one design that serves double duty. It's a combined camera strap and camera case, which, when you're done using it to attach your camera to your body, can be used to wrap your device up so that it doesn't get beaten up while in your bag.

If you're not carrying much camera gear, it's often not really useful to bring an entire camera bag with you. The Miggo deals with that by working as a combined case and strap for a single camera, either mirrorless or mid-sized DSLR. It starts as a rather thick neck or wrist strap made from neoprene. But once you're done shooting, you zip the two halves of the strap together into a single piece, and then wrap it around your camera, giving it a layer of protection.

The Miggo will come in two sizes: DSLR or Mirrorless; and two forms: a neck strap or a wrist strap. It also attaches to your camera via the tripod mount for security, and features a small integrated pocket for lenscaps.

It's an innovative way to combine two camera accessories into one—though we'd be careful about unwrapping this thing at full speed, and not sending it flying. But if you're just taking a single, smallish camera with you for the day, it would make a lot more sense to take this than an entire dedicated camera bag.

If you're interested in backing the Miggo a $35 pledge will get you the wrist-strap version, or $40 for the neck-strap. With 29 days to go, the Kickstarter is more than half-way to being fully funded, marking it as a likely candidate to hit its goal.
