Fujifilm is raising prices on a selection of its cameras, lenses, Instax products, and smartphone printers in Japan. The new prices take effect October 1, 2026, with digital cameras increasing by as much as 15% and some Instax products rising by up to 23%.

According to Fujifilm, the price increases are the result of rising manufacturing and logistics costs. The company says it has attempted to absorb the higher expenses through improved production efficiency and cost reductions, but can no longer absorb the increases entirely.

Fujifilm GFX and X Series Prices Increase

Several medium-format GFX cameras are affected by the price revision, including the GFX100 II, GFX100S II, and GFX100RF.

The X Series is also affected, with price increases applying to the X-T50, X-T50 with the XC15-45mm F/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ kit, X-E5, X-E5 with the XF 23mm F/2.8 R WR kit, and X100VI.

The affected cameras and kits will see price increases ranging from 6% to 15%.

The XF500mm F/5.6 R LM OIS WR lens is also affected, with its price increasing by 12%.

Instax Prices Rise by Up to 23%

Fujifilm’s Instax lineup is seeing some of the largest increases.

The Instax Mini LiPlay, Mini LiPlay+, Mini Evo, Mini Evo Cinema, and Wide Evo will see price increases ranging from 6% to 23%.

The company’s smartphone printers are also affected. The Instax Mini Link 3 will increase by 7%, while the Instax Square Link will become 12% more expensive.

Fujifilm Cites Rising Costs

Fujifilm says the price revisions are being driven by increases in material, manufacturing, and logistics costs.

“We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued patronage of Fujifilm products,” the company said in its notice.

The company added that it has worked to offset rising costs through production efficiencies and cost reductions but has found it increasingly difficult to absorb the increases through internal efforts alone.

Japan Price Increase Only

The latest price revision applies to the Japanese market. Fujifilm has also implemented price increases in other regions, including Europe, where prices were raised in September.

The company previously raised prices in Japan in April 2025.

Fujifilm has also discussed rising memory-module costs in recent financial reporting, although its current price-increase notice specifically cites broader increases in material, manufacturing, and logistics costs.

The new Fujifilm prices take effect in Japan on October 1, 2026. The revision affects selected Fujifilm GFX and X Series cameras, lenses, Instax cameras, and smartphone printers.

The company has not announced corresponding price increases for other markets as part of this particular revision.
