Godox Litemons SR20R Packs RGB Effects and USB-C Charging Into a Compact Ring Light

Godox has unveiled the Litemons SR20R, a full-color LED ring light designed for mobile filmmakers and content creators. The compact light combines adjustable color temperature, RGB lighting, and built-in camera controls in a portable package aimed at vlogging, livestreaming, and social media production.

The Litemons series is positioned as a budget-friendly lighting range for content creators. With its ring-shaped illumination, the SR20R is designed to soften facial shadows and produce natural-looking catchlights for portraits and livestreams.

Adjustable Color and Lighting Effects

The SR20R offers an adjustable color temperature range of 2,800K to 6,500K, with stepless brightness adjustment from 0% to 100%. Godox rates the light at 1,510 lux at 0.5 meters at 5,600K.

It also carries CRI and TLCI ratings of 96 or higher, indicating its focus on color accuracy and natural-looking skin tones. The adjustable color temperature allows users to match ambient lighting or create a different mood for their videos.

Beyond conventional white light, the SR20R supports adjustable RGB colors and includes 14 built-in lighting effects. These include candlelight, fireworks, lightning, party lighting, TV flicker, and emergency lights, giving creators additional options for adding atmosphere to their videos.

Flexible Mounting and Camera Controls

Godox has designed the SR20R to work with a variety of mobile filming setups. Mounting options include a sliding 1/4-inch adapter for cameras, a smartphone clip, and an optional mount for action cameras and gimbals.

The light also features a built-in kickstand for tabletop use and three 1/4-inch threaded mounting points for horizontal or vertical positioning.

Three cold shoe mounts provide space for accessories such as external microphones, handles, and other filming equipment.

Another notable feature is integrated camera control. Through Bluetooth, users can trigger photos and video recording, adjust focus, and switch lenses directly from the panel, according to Godox. This can help streamline mobile shooting without requiring users to operate their phones separately.

Built-In Battery and USB-C Charging

The Litemons SR20R has a built-in 4,800mAh battery rated for up to 90 minutes of operation at full brightness.

It can also be charged through USB-C while in use, allowing creators to continue shooting when connected to a suitable power source.
