Nikon 35mm f/1.8G DX AF-S Nikkor
4 out of 10 points and recommendedcheap, lightnot sharp until f4, slooowwI am very disppointed with this lens. OK, it's cheap, but what good is f1.8 if it doens't give you sharp results untill f4?

I went so far testing this lens, that I mounted the camera on a tripod and shot my bookshelf (which I normally never do). Nothing sharp, not in AF nor MF, untill f4. Maybe it's my copy, but for me, even though it's cheap, it's not worth the investment. -
Nikon 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR DX AF-S Nikkor
9 out of 10 points and recommendedperfect allround zoom range, IQnot as sharp on teleMy copy is so used & beaten, that I am considering buying a new one. It's a perfect allround lens, that I can recommend to everyone using Nikon DX. Much better in IQ than 18-200.

I hope Nikon will release a new(better, constant apperature) version soon. If not, I will buy this one again. -
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM
8 out of 10 points and recommendedsharp at close distanceuseless wide open beyond 3 metersI use this lens for portraits on a Nikon dx. Ultra sharp, even wide open (only if I shoot head shots). Wonderfull bokeh also. The only problem I have with this lens, is that for all other use, it just doens't focus correctly. Most of the time it backfocusses. I tried it on several body's, but it's just not good. So it's not a walk around lens, or if you are looking for a lens to shoot concerts etc, forget this lens.
