Thrifty Thursday Mini: Get the new Sigma 100-400mm Contemporary lens for under $700

As we near Black Friday, the deals will be coming fast and furious. This week we have a single deal to share with you, but it's a doozy if you're looking for a full-frame telephoto zoom lens for your Canon, Nikon or Sigma camera. Sigma's new 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary lens is on sale for $699, which is $100 off its regular price, plus it also comes with a free 67mm protective filter and a Sigma USB dock, which together have a value of $129.

We recently put the Sigma 100-400mm lens through a Field Test and found that the lens delivers impressive performance for the money. Even at 400mm, which is often a difficult focal length for a 100-400mm lens, the zoom performs well, particularly on an APS-C camera.
