DEAL @ AMAZON

If you are transitioning from a Canon DSLR (like a 5D or 80D) to a mirrorless body (like the R5, R6, or RP), this adaptor is a must-have. It allows you to use your entire collection of EF and EF-S lenses on the newer RF mount camera bodies. Even better, it does this while maintaining full autofocus speed and stabilization, so you don’t have to worry about any loss of performance.

CamelCamelCamel confirms it’s the lowest price of this product on Amazon, making this $149 price a good bargain for the Holiday Season. We think you should get this item before the Cyber Monday rush; if you have EF glass, you need this adapter.

Why the Mount Adapter EF-EOS R Stands Out

No Compromise on Performance

The most critical feature of this official Canon adapter is that it has no optical elements. This means your EF lenses will function exactly as they did on your old DSLR, maintaining the same stellar image quality, aperture control, and, most importantly, the speed and accuracy of the autofocus system.

Built to Professional Standards

While the adapter may look simple, it is built for challenging outdoor conditions. It features metal mounts on both the front (EF side) and the back (RF side) for durability. It is also designed with weather sealing to protect your camera body from dust and moisture.

Compact and Simple to Use

Weighing only about 4.6 ounces, the standard Mount Adapter EF-EOS R is the lightest and smallest of Canon’s adapter lineup. It simply locks into place between the lens and the camera, without adding any bulk to your setup. Its straightforward design is why many photographers prefer it over the pricier versions—it allows you to focus on taking pictures instead of any unnecessary features.
