Climber, photographer, and videographer Tim Kemple travelled to Iceland alongside ice climbers Klemen Premrl and Rahel Schelb to photograph the pair climbing massive walls and cliffs of ice. SmugMug Films came along for the ride to document Kemple's adventure and the resulting short film, Climbing Ice - The Iceland Trifecta, is nothing short of stunning.

In the video down below, you can see Premrl and Schelb climbing a frozen crag, working their way around the walls and ceiling of an ice cave, and even scale an iceberg. It's incredible to see Premrl and Schelb work their way up and down the ice. They both provide Kemple with excellent action and skillful climbing to capture.

Kemple gets in on the action, too, as an active participant. The images and photo he captures are unique because of his own climbing ability and willingness to take risks. "With risk comes reward," says Kemple.

Kemple is a partner of Camp 4 Collective with partners Anson Fogel and Renan Ozturk. Camp 4 Collective works for major corporations such as BFGoodrich, Red Bull, and The North Face to capture action and adventure throughout the world. To see more about Camp 4 Collective's history and what they do, check out the video below.

It's clear that Kemple goes to extremes to capture the most compelling and unique images possible. His passion for adventure shows through in his work. I look forward to seeing where he goes next!
