Swiss landscape and nature photographer Stefan Forster brings us with him on his trip to Iceland for episode 1 of the web series, Light Hunter. In this first episode, you can see Forster working in beautiful Iceland as he discusses his process of planning images. There is a lot of careful consideration that goes into each session in the field.

There will be nine free episodes of Light Hunter released online. A feature film including footage from the nine episodes plus additional segments is available on Vimeo on demand now for $7.99 USD or $6.99 USD for a 48-hour rental period. The next free episode will be available from December 11th.

Light Hunter was made in conjunction with Nikon and you can see him using a Nikon D810 DSLR and Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens.

Check out the video below to see Forster visit volcanic beaches and photograph unique glacial formations. Seeing the pieces of ice on the black sand beach is incredible. Be sure to turn on subtitles to follow along with Forster.
