In my first Canon EOS M100 Field Test, I looked at the mirrorless camera's performance when capturing still images. It impressed me quite a lot. In the M100 Field Test Part II, I have focused on the camera's capabilities for video recording.

Thanks to its Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus and metering abilities, the Canon M100 makes capturing nice-looking video very simple. The touchscreen user interface works well for video recording as well, especially when considering the camera's tilting display. Video quality is generally quite good for a Full HD camera across much of the ISO range. Plus, the M100 gives users full manual control over video recording, which is nice.
