Wildlife weekend: Morten Hilmer’s photo origins, Sony Artisan Colby Brown on wildlife photography & gear

 

 

It’s a wild weekend here with a couple of professional wildlife photographers. We have two videos to share with you today, one from wildlife and nature photographer Morten Hilmer and another from Sony Artisan Colby Brown.

First up is Hilmer, whose latest video is focused on how he became a photographer in general and a wildlife photographer in particular. Hilmer, and other pros, are very often asked how they got started, what led them to photography and how did they turn their passion into a career. Join Hilmer in his newest “Photographer’s Friday” video and learn more about him in the video below.

The second video was recorded earlier this week at Sony’s stage at the Photo Plus Expo. Colby Brown delivered a presentation about his experience doing wildlife photography and he discusses the best Sony gear for capturing fast-moving wild animals. Of course, the talk is interesting even for non-Sony shooters, so don’t worry if you’re not a Sony user but are just interested in wildlife photography.
