Welcome to Imaging Resource's Live Photokina 2008 Tradeshow Coverage. Since 1950, the German city of Cologne has played host to Photokina - the world�s largest photography and imaging expo. Since the 1952 show, Photokina has been a biennial event, meaning that it takes place only once every two years. For 2008, Imaging Resource will have a four-man team on the show floor, bringing you on-the-spot videos of the hottest products. Panasonic shows DMC-G prototype
14:29 EDT - Two weeks ago Panasonic announced its first product for the new "Micro Four Thirds" system standard, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1. Based around a 12.1 megapixel image sensor, the interchangeable lens Panasonic G1 offers a more compact package than even the smallest digital SLRs.
