Our top pick from DJI is the Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo, the company’s flagship consumer camera drone. It is currently discounted by 6% and offers professional-level aerial photography and filmmaking capabilities. Its triple-camera system also gives pilots multiple focal lengths to work with, making it a versatile platform for both stills and video.

Using OcuSync 4, the flight range is improved to up to 12.4 miles vs. the 7.5 miles of the Mini 3 Pro. Other new features include slower motion in 4K at 100 fps and complex route planning using ActiveTrack. The Mini 4 Pro remains beginner-friendly at roughly 8.8 oz with a host of automatic flight modes, in addition to true vertical shooting for social media-ready footage without post-processing.

Is Prime Big Deal Days a Good Time to Buy a Drone?
Prime Big Deal Days can be a good opportunity to buy a drone, particularly if you’ve been waiting for a discount on a popular model. Drones can be expensive pieces of equipment, so a meaningful price reduction can make upgrading or buying a first camera drone considerably more appealing.
It’s worth remembering that drone technology changes quickly, however. Before buying, consider whether the model you’re looking at is still current and whether a newer version is likely to replace it soon. A large discount isn’t necessarily a good deal if you’re purchasing outdated hardware.
Do You Need Amazon Prime to Get Prime Big Deal Days Deals?
Yes. Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is a Prime-exclusive shopping event, so you’ll generally need an active Amazon Prime membership to access the event’s exclusive deals and promotions.
If you’re not currently a Prime member, Amazon typically offers a free trial to eligible new subscribers. This can give you access to the event without requiring an immediate paid membership. After the trial period, Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, although pricing and eligibility can vary.
For shoppers planning to purchase a more expensive drone during the event, the membership can be worthwhile if the savings on the drone outweigh the cost of the subscription.
