Stunning aerial photo purportedly shows torrential rainfall over Colorado

 

 

As Colorado continues to get hit with record rainfall and flooding, more and more photos and video of the disaster have sprung up on social media networks. Last week, we shared a number of images and video clips of the flooding captured by citizen journalists and shared on Instagram and other locations.

Now, another astounding photo has popped up that purportedly shows an intense rainstorm over Colorado. The stunning image, which you can see below, was allegedly shot by a passenger on a commercial flight who was flying into Denver. (Though we have not been able to verify this.)
