The Wide Temperature lineup of memory cards are designed for use in demanding conditions and are rated to work effectively from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The microSD cards are SD Specification Version 3.0 compliant and have a Class 10 speed rating, with transfer rates of up to 20MB/second.
With their 'industrial-grade' designation, the new microSD cards are extensively tested during production. The cards have built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) and S.M.A.R.T. function to detect and correct transfer errors and monitor the condition of the card. The new cards are also waterproof, static proof, X-ray proof, and shock proof, as well as shipping with a 2-year warranty.
If you're a photographer who uses your gear in very demanding and difficult conditions, the new Industrial Temp microSD cards are available for order now in 8, 16, 32, and 64GB sizes with the 8GB SDHC card selling for $8.99 USD and the 64GB microSDXC card selling for $65.99 USD.
