Italian graphic designer Andrea Antoni travels around, capturing images of landscapes and cityscapes and matches the colors in the scene with a Pantone swatch.

Antoni’s process involves first capturing the photo, then digitally adding an image of his hand holding the matching Pantone swatch in Photoshop. He told DIY Photography that this project, which can easily be found on Instagram by searching “#STAILtone,” started by him publishing a Pantone color of the day that matched the sky above his house, but eventually that single color evolved into a palette and the sky above his home became other scenery. He has made over a hundred of these images.
