The latest lens to join the Fujifilm GF lens lineup is the GF 45mm f/2.8 R WR, which I recently had the chance to use. This 35mm-equivalent prime is relatively compact for a GFX lens, weighing in at just over a pound (17.3 ounces/490 grams) and balances very nicely on the GFX 50S body. It offers full Fujifilm weather protection, including weather, dust and freeze resistance.
Optically, the lens has 11 elements across 8 groups, including a single aspherical element and a pair of ED elements. The lens delivers very sharp images, even wide open, and the 9-bladed rounded diaphragm helps deliver some very pleasing bokeh.
