In Capture One 12, there is a wealth of options for adjusting and editing the color in your photographs. Within this area of the user interface, there's a tab which is of particular interest to portrait photographers, the "Skin Tone" tab. This tool is useful, but it can be a little hard to get used to, as it's not something commonly seen in other photo editors. Fortunately, the team at Capture One do a great job of producing educational content on their website and YouTube channel.

Before getting to skin tones, however, we should first familiarize ourselves with the color editing tool in general. Below, there are two videos. The first is an overview of the color editor in Capture One and the second is focused solely on perfecting your skin tones.
