Why We Love the DJI Mic 3

After using the DJI Mic 3 as my primary wireless microphone system for mirrorless cameras, it has become one of my favorite pieces of gear. The built-in internal recording provides valuable peace of mind, ensuring there’s always a backup recording even if something happens to the camera’s audio track.

Its 32-bit float recording is especially useful when covering concerts, live events, or unpredictable shooting environments, giving plenty of flexibility during post-production while helping recover audio that would normally clip. Adaptive Gain Control also does an excellent job of automatically adjusting recording levels as sound levels change.

Key Features

32-bit float recording: Records both an original audio track and an enhanced backup version, with 32-bit float and Lossless Audio modes providing greater flexibility during editing.
Adaptive Gain Control: Automatically adjusts recording levels to help prevent clipping or maintain consistent audio in changing environments.
Voice presets and noise cancellation: Choose between Regular, Rich, and Bright voice profiles while reducing unwanted background noise with two selectable noise cancellation levels.
Expandable wireless system: Supports mono, stereo, and quadraphonic recording modes, with the receiver capable of working with up to four transmitters for more complex productions.
Dual-band wireless connectivity: Operates on both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies with Bluetooth 5.4 support, and can connect directly to compatible DJI cameras without requiring the receiver.

This is the lowest price ever on the DJI Mic 3 Bundle, according to the pricing history from camelcamelcamel.com.

The DJI Mic 3 Bundle is an excellent choice for professional filmmakers, content creators, vloggers, interviewers, and anyone looking to significantly improve their audio quality. The complete kit provides professional-grade recording features while remaining compact enough for solo creators, and its expandability makes it equally suitable for larger multi-camera productions.

Since the promotion is part of Amazon Prime Day, it’s worth taking advantage of the savings before the offer expires.
