Canon announces Rebel T2i
Monday, February 8, 2010 09:00 EST - Canon has today announced its Rebel T2i, the latest addition to (and new flagship model for) its EOS Rebel series, and we've just published our Canon T2i preview.
Also known in some markets as the EOS 550D, the Canon EOS Rebel T2i is based around a variant of the eighteen megapixel image sensor from the company's EOS 7D prosumer digital SLR, modified to provide four-channel rather than eight-channel readout. Canon: Four new PowerShot compacts
Monday, February 8, 2010 09:00 EST - Canon has today announced four new PowerShot digital camera models - the SD1300 IS, SD1400 IS, SD3500 IS and SX210 IS.
The Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS is based around a twelve megapixel CCD image sensor. In front, the SD1300 places a 4x optical zoom lens providing the range from a useful 28mm wide angle to a 112mm telephoto. The Canon SD1300 has optical image stabilization, and a maximum aperture of f/2.8 to f/5.9 across the zoom range. On its rear panel, the Canon PowerShot SD1300IS offers a 2.7" LCD display....

Nikon updates D3S firmware
13:19 EST - Nikon USA has just released an updated version of firmware for its D3S digital SLR.
Nikon D3S firmware v1.01 corrects some issues present in the previous release.
